Evan will be playing a solo show on July 4th at the Emerald Queen Casino stage in old town. He'll be sharing the stage with Prairie Dogs drummer, Doug Mackey, who is also a gifted musician and songwriter. That's Monday July 4th at 1:00 PM

The Prairie Dogs will be playing a show at Shakabra Java on 6th Avenue Tacoma, Saturday March 28th with Last Chance Romeos, starting at 8 PM.

Well The Prairie Dogs played Jazzbones last night, filling in for a cancellation. It was only Dave, Doug and myself, since it was a far way for Michael to go on a work night. I’ve never played there with a band before – I did play at an open mic one Monday but that hardly counts. We had a lot of fun, getting a bit louder than we usually do, and rocking it out a bit. It’s always a strange experience to play those songs without Mike there to do his parts, but I just sing his parts along in my head. We got a lot of nice complements after the show from people who had not seen us before.

Hi everybody, welcome to the new info page for the Prairie Dogs. My good friend Lisa from Indiana has been working hard on this site finishing all the updates out of the kindness of her heart. So before I start writing ANYTHING I want to definitely say thanks a bunch Girly, you totally rock!
This page will be a place where I can put up links and reviews, upcoming show information and maybe just a rant or two. I’m also going to try to put in a comment area here as well so that if anyone wants to leave a message they can.
